The Regional Board of Film Certification has recommended Malashree starrer 'Election' to the Revising Committee. Now the film which was scheduled for a Friday (May 03rd) release will be postponed indefinitely.
Earlier producer Ramu had announced that 'Election' would be released before the forthcoming general Assembly elections and the team of 'Election' headed by director Omprakash Rao had worked hard to complete the film so that the film would be released on time. Now the team is ready with the first copy and the Censor members watched the film on Tuesday, but has recommended the film to Revising Committee as there are many references to current political scenario.
Now the Revising Committee must watch the film before issuing the certificate and it is not yet clear when the RC will be watching the film.
